Right way to pan-fry a steak to medium rare?
not great with red meat.
Use a cast iron pan – make sure its hot…
put a tablespoon of butter in pan….
let it melt…
add steak….cook on each side depending on thickness (5-7 minutes….when in doubt, use a knife to tell)
let cool some – they will continue to cook for a few minutes after you take them off.
