What is the meaning of these two dreams?
It first started having this dream where its raining and I am walking home from the lightrail station near my street. I just finished recruit training in the Marine Corps and I am dressed in Service Alphas with a C-Bag in my hand. As I walk down the street I see this girl I guess I love that is in my geometry class (I talk to her from time to time but I doubt she wants to go further) standing with an umbrella crossing a street. So I catch up to her, ask her for coffee and we walk to some small coffee shop. Next thing I know that she dissappeared so I search for her. I walk outside, to the alley and I see her stand in the end of the dark alley. I have a KA-Bar (knife) in my hand as I walk toward her but then I black out. As I woke up I was terrified.
My second nightmare is I imagine myself murdering someone. I don’t remember who or what but I was angry. When I woke up from this one I was also terrified.

Usually rain in a dream signifies cleansing. You are proud of what you have done and need to tell someone. She has the umbrella to protect you but then disappears. Thats part of letting go of your past influences that needed to protect you but now are gone, because you rely on yourself now, that’s a bit terrifying but in reality it means you completed a stage and are moving on. You keep looking for what was there, but then it goes away again. It’s your transition and you are nervous about letting go of the “safe” for what is NOW, hence the knife. A need to defend yourself, you are simply moving on and need to let go and let yourself be the Marine you are and understand that you have chosen correctly your path.
Murdering someone in our dreams is a sign of also letting go. WE put to death those old things and embrace the new.
You have become an adult. That’s what this is about.
