LID IS STUCK IN PAN!! How do I get it out? It sank in, b/c it’s not the same size as the pan. Tried EVERYTHING?
Lid stuck in pan. PROBLEM.
Now, I really did try everything… and it’s IMPOSSIBLE!! Maybe YOU can help! We tried…
1. running hot water on the bottom of the pan and cold water on the lid
2. putting the whole pan in ice, freezing it
3. flipping the pan over and hitting it on the bottom
4. reheating it
NOTHING WORKS!! this is a stubborn one…
any other suggestions would be much appreciated =)
Thanks guys!! We figured it out by hitting the bottom of the pan.. several times.. until we found a tiny hole where we filled it with water. Then we hit it again.. and BAM! it came out!! Thanks again for your suggestions, though! =)
Run water over the top of the lid and try to get it to leak into the pot. Once you’ve got a good amount of water in the pot, reheat it and bring it to a boil. The added pressure from the steam should loosen it up and the upward force from the pressure should help you pull the lid out.
