1970s Chatelaine cookbook fudge cake
I am looking for a recipe for a chocolate cake with coffee, that was in one of the late sixties/early seventies chatelaine cookbooks.
I believe it was called “Fudge cake” but it could also have been “Mocha cake”
It starts out that you add 3 quarters of a cup of cocoa to 1 cup hot strong coffee, stir and set aside.
Combine dry ingredients, flour, salt and leavening agent.
then you mix the wet ingredients in another bowl, combine. And add the coffee/cocoa mixture last
Does anybody know this recipe?
